Manhattan Island Marathon Swim (MIMS): This 28.5-mile swim around Manhattan, one of the Triple Crown of Marathon Swimming along with The English Channel and Catalina, was held in colder than normal water on June 8. My swimming partner DJ Gallagher, son of the race’s founder Drury Gallagher, and I recorded the fastest 2-person relay time.
